DAAD Undergraduate Scholarship

Description: Offers a wide range of highly selective scholarships, grants, and fellowships in Germany, including summer research, study abroad scholarships, and language training. Proficiency in German is not required for most grants.

Description: Goldwater Scholarships are given to outstanding students who intend to pursue research careers in mathematics, the natural sciences, or engineering. Each scholarship covers eligible expenses for undergraduate tuition, fees, books, and room and board, up to a maximum of $7,500 annually.

National Institute of Health Scholarship
Who can apply: Current students with a 3.3 GPA or higher who demonstrate financial need.
Descriptions: Competitive scholarships for students who are committed to careers in biomedical, behavioral, and social science health-related research. Offers scholarship support, paid research training during the summer, and paid employment and training after graduation. Students from disadvantaged backgrounds receive priority.

Public Policy and International Affairs Fellowship
Who can apply: Juniors
Description: Summer program for juniors (primarily from historically underrepresented groups) who are interested in public service for careers in public policy, public administration, or international affairs.

Description: The Truman Scholarship provides up to $30,000 in funding to students pursuing graduate degrees in public service fields. Students must be college juniors at the time of selection. The Foundation also provides assistance with career counseling, internship placement, graduate school admissions, and professional development.

Description: The Foundation awards 80 scholarships of up to $5,000 and 50 honorable mentions of $350 to sophomore and junior level college students committed to careers related to the environment, tribal public policy, or Native American health care. Scholars will spend four days in Tucson, Arizona meeting with other scholars, elected officials, and environmental and tribal leaders. Scholars will also have access to a network of environmental, Native American health, and tribal policy professionals through the Udall Alumni listserv.
