Section 4.10: Missing Student(s)

Should a situation arise where someone reports to you that they are concerned a student is missing, please utilize any means available to try and contact that student. Calling their cell phone, checking Facebook, Twitter or other social media sites, talking with those who are known to have most recently seen them, etc. There are a variety of reasons that a student may not answer initially, so you may need to check back to the student’s room later. 

In the event that a student has not been responding to your efforts of contacting them for a period exceeding 24 hours, or if you have reason to believe this process should be expedited, a report should be made to either one of the Assistant Director of Residence Life positions, the Director of Residence Life, Director of Campus Safety, or Dean of Students.
