Sexual Assault

If you or someone you know has been affected by sexual assault, the pages in this section provide information about options and resources both on and off campus.  To make an appointment to talk to a counselor at Cornell about sexual assault concerns, please call 319-895-4292.  The Counseling Center is open Monday - Tuesday 8am to 6pm, Wednesday through Friday 8am to 4:30pm.

If it is after hours and you are in need of more immediate sexual assault services, the Riverview Center in Cedar Rapids has a 24-Hour sexual assault hotline, at 888-557-0310.  You may also go to one of the local hospital emergency rooms for medical assistance and request medical advocacy (emotional support and/or information about options) from Riverview during your hospital visit.
