The Literary Society is open to all Cornell students, not just English majors.
Past events include:
- Story time on the Orange Carpet where creative writing students read their original children's stories
- A spontaneous writing booth during Homecoming
- Trips to Iowa City for performances at Riverside Theatre and readings at Prairie Lights
- An annual trip to Spring Green, Wisc. for Shakespeare performances
- Talks by visiting artists.
