Cornell College held its 164th Commencement ceremony in celebration of the Class of 2022 on Mother’s Day Sunday, May 8, outdoors on Van Metre Field at Ash Park. A livestream of the ceremony is still available.

The senior speaker was Lauren Williams ’22, past president of Student Senate and a politics major from Brandon, Mississippi. Biology Professor Craig Tepper was the faculty speaker.

2022 Cornell Baccalaureate ceremony

An inter-spiritual Baccalaureate ceremony was held Saturday, May 7, also at Van Metre Field. A livestream of this ceremony is still available to view. This Cornell tradition features playful and meaningful words of gratitude by graduating seniors on behalf of their faculty, family, staff, and friends; readings by members of the Class of 2022; and wisdom for the life journey which includes a message by College Chaplain Melea White.
