2019 Commencement Recap
Cornell College conferred degrees on 210 students during its annual Commencement ceremony at 10 a.m. on Sunday, May 12.
Associate Professor of Chemistry Jai Shanata and Belou Quimby ’19 gave a joint faculty-student address.
The Commencement ceremony was the final event of a weekend that celebrates the achievements of the graduating class. Other events included a reception for graduating seniors on Friday and the annual Baccalaureate service. Seniors' words of gratitude for family, friends, and mentors were read at the service. Chaplain of the College Catherine Quehl-Engel '89 delivered the sermon.
