Family Information for New Student Orientation
The transition to college can be an exciting and challenging time for everyone, and we are here to assist you and your student through this process. The information throughout the New Student Orientation (NSO) pages is specifically designed for your student; however, we encourage you to look at this information and be familiar with it as you will serve as a valuable resource to your student throughout their four years at Cornell.
There are several tasks your student will need to complete prior to their arrival on campus, itemized on a personalized online checklist that is accessible from the Admitted Students portal. We ask that you become familiar with this checklist and assist them in completing everything.
Move-in day and family orientation
