This pathway leads to graduate degrees that expand your future career options
Cornell College has partnered with the Iowa State University Ivy College of Business, opening up pathways directly into three in-demand master's degrees for Cornell graduates. Professor of Economics and Business Santhi Hejeebu says, “This partnership is wonderful for Cornell. We have many promising students who have had a rich on-campus experience, and we want to create those next steps for those students and make them easy to climb. This partnership does that. We have an opportunity to open new doors for our students.”
Students who meet the program criteria can experience a streamlined acceptance to the ISU Ivy College of Business without application fees to pursue their:
- Master of Finance (3-semester program)
- Master of Information Science (3-semester program)
- Master of Accounting (2-semester program)
To take advantage of this pathway, you will indicate your interest in one of the five reserved spots held for Cornellians in each program during your final year at Cornell and apply for financial assistance before May 1. You can make your faculty advisor aware that this is your ultimate goal as soon as your first year on campus, and start tailoring your course schedule to fit.

What is the best bachelor to master's pathway?
Pursue any of the following majors (areas of concentration) within the Economics and Business Department and complete your bachelor’s degree at Cornell College with a minimum GPA of 3.25 for the Master of Finance and Master of Accounting programs or a minimum GPA of 3.0 for the Master of Information Science.
Your liberal arts education at Cornell allows you to explore courses in other fields such as statistics, computer science, psychology, and politics that can help you tune your degree program to your specific career ambitions.
