    Rebecca Entel

    Robert P. Dana Director of the Center for the Literary Arts

    Professor of English and Creative Writing Rebecca Entel is a teacher, writer, and scholar. She is the author of the novel Fingerprints of Previous Owners (The Unnamed Press, 2017) and numerous stories and essays in journals such as Guernica, Catapult, Literary Hub, Electric Literature, Cleaver, and Hobart. Her scholarly work about Civil War literature has appeared in various journals and anthologies. She teaches a broad range of courses including Novel Writing, The Slave Narrative, Literature and Social Justice (in Chicago), and Caribbean Literature (in the Bahamas).
