We accept our own application or the Common Application and consider students equally no matter which application you submit.
English proficiency
Cornell College does require a level of English proficiency in order to be successful in your coursework and student life. While a formal English proficiency test is not required, we do need proof of English proficiency before you will be admitted. You can work directly with your admission counselor for details of what qualifies for proficiency.
CORNELL APPLICATION
Use this application if you want to apply directly to Cornell College as your only option or customize your application for us. Application is free, we do not charge application fees.Application materials
- Official high school transcript submitted by a high school counselor. If your transcript is not in English, submit a certified transcript.
- Complete the Statement of Financial Support, which you can find in your New Student Portal after you submit your application.
- Test score (optional: you may choose a no-test score application; short answer questions are required for no-test score application)
Recommended materials
- Secondary School Report, completed by you and your high school guidance counselor
- Teacher recommendations
- Personal portfolio
After you have submitted all of your application materials, expect to hear from us within two weeks with a decision.
