Academic Performance Tutorial (INT 502)

Learn Smarter: Skills for Academic Success (INT 502) is an adjunct course offered each spring semester. The course focuses on study skills and habits for student success and covers topics such as

  • Concentration and memory
  • Preparation for exams
  • Time management
  • Note-taking
  • Active reading
  • Motivation and attitude
  • Stress management and self-care

The course typically meets one hour per week and also includes individual meetings with the instructor to work on personal goals and assignments. Students can earn .25 credit without a grade for successfully completing this course.
