Eligibility

Rising high school juniors and seniors as of June 2024 as well as 2024 high school graduates

Costs

Residential: $4,000 (course and social outings, room and board)

Commuter: $3,200 (course, social outings, opening and closing dinners only)

Qualify for up to $4,000 in scholarship aid to attend Cornell College

Your completion of a One Course Summer Institute course makes you eligible for up to $4,000 in sch0larship funds at Cornell College (if you apply, are accepted, and enroll full-time at Cornell College). You'll receive up to $1,000 each year (for four years). 

Prior participants can enroll in subsequent summers but are eligible for only one $4,000 Summer Institute scholarship.

Credit hours

You'll earn 3 credit hours for successfully completing your course. You can apply those credits (along with that $4,000 scholarship) at Cornell College. Credits can be applied towards a Cornell College degree or forwarded by official transcript to another college. 

Registration open

To register complete the One Course Summer Institute registration form on which you will select your preferred course. Registration includes submission of your unofficial High School transcript. A $500, nonrefundable deposit for the institute is required to complete your registration.  The remaining balance must be paid by June 17, 2024.

Classes are small intentionally so you get one-on-one interactions with our faculty and encourage quality conversations among students.
