Facility Services

Cornell's Office of Facility Services provides maintenance and housekeeping support for all campus buildings, grounds and vehicles. In addition, we manage Cornell’s recycling program and we are involved with the campus energy management program.

Work orders 

To report a maintenance or housekeeping issue in an academic building, administrative building, grounds, parking lots residence hall, etc., please use our online work order system.

For issues that require immediate assistance between 7:30 a.m. and 4 p.m., please contact our office. After hours emergencies should be directed to the Office of Campus Safety at (319) 895-4299.

Construction projects

A calendar of planned projects that are scheduled that will cause multi-day disruptions or closure of  facilities or campus services is available. You can use this tool to schedule reminders for construction via email for individual projects or a weekly reminder of the full calendar or transfer events to your personal calendar.
