College Break Information

While campus rarely truly closes, we do shut down administrative offices for some of our campus breaks. Here are resources that may come in handy while we're away:

Campus dining

If you're staying on campus over break, you can get meals using Flex dollars at the Hilltop Café or Zaomoras. Check the details of hours of operation during each of our campus breaks. Students who need special assistance regarding meals should be in touch with Residence Life.

Campus housing

The Office of Residence Life has a detailed list of what to expect for each college break. Please refer to their information

Safety & security questions

Campus safety officers will be on campus at all times over break. The officers will be making regular rounds through the residence halls. As always, students are advised to report any suspicious individuals or activities to Campus Safety. If you need assistance, contact Campus Safety 319.895.4299 (or x4299 from an on-campus telephone). For an emergency, call 911 (or 9-911 from an on-campus telephone).
