Student Shared Information
Student release of information to parents and families
Students can share information with parents and other people through Student Information Sharing. To make information visible to parents, each student must log in and set their parent(s) up in the system. The student controls the password and email to which information will be sent. Students have the ability to select to share financial aid, billing, grades, or any combination of types of information.
- Student instructions to set up Student Information Sharing are available in the knowledge base.
- Once your student has entered parent information, the parent(s) will receive an email from no-reply@cornellcollege.edu with a temporary password.
- Once received, access the parent login page for student information sharing, and log in with your email and the password provided
- Once logged in, you will see links to the types of information the student has shared with you.
Additional notes about Student Information Sharing
Note that a student can choose to share any combination of billing, grades, and financial aid information. Sharing one does not require them to release others. Information Technology, Student Accounts, the Office of Financial Assistance, or the Office of the Registrar cannot grant access to these items or relase information to you without your student's permission.
Passwords and access
If you have problems logging in make sure to check the email password. If you lost the password you can use the lost password link on the login page. If you wish to change your password simply login to the system and select change password option.
