Residence Life Policies

Cornell is committed to the value of residential living as an integral part of the educational process of the College. Living in residence halls provides students with opportunities to learn and live with others, to share ideas and experiences, and to develop personally. Residence life policies and procedures can be found online in the Residence Life Handbook. The Dean of Students, Director of Residence Life, Assistant and/or Associate Directors of Residence Life and the Resident Assistants are responsible for administering campus student housing policies and procedures. Students are responsible for monitoring their own behavior as well as the behavior of others in their community.
