About me: I was a non-traditional student at Cornell College coming from 5 years in the United States Coast Guard. I graduated in 2019 and used my love of animals and my people skills to become a dog trainer where I started my own small business, helping families and their pups live happy lives. I always knew I wanted to come back to Cornell and jumped at the opportunity to help potential students have their own awesome experience here at Cornell!
One place I recommend students visit on campus: My favorite place on campus and place I spent the most time was the Thomas Commons. With so many things happening on the OC (Orange Carpet), the wonderful food served in the dining hall and even places to hang out and study, I was always there doing something. And that doesn't even mention the wonderful services Cornell provides for our students that all reside there too!
What I can do for you: I want to help potential students find their place here at Cornell and help them find themselves too. College (Cornell College especially) is a wonderful place to grow and explore who you are personally, professionally and academically. I hope to be one of the people who can show you somewhere to succeed and that somewhere is Cornell College.
