Cascading Style Sheets and Text ApperanceCSS ensure that we have a consistent look across the entire site and reduce the amount of coding and formatting that you will have to do. For the most part you will not have to worry about this as the CSS is already applied to the page. CSS Quick Reference -- What Not To Do Two things to know: As a rule leave your FORMAT
set to PARAGRAGH, your FONT
set to DEFAULT and the SIZE
set to NONE. If you want to use a different font, change it,
but again, we encourage you to use the same font as everyone else. It
is easy to read and we very much want to keep the site consistent. If
you want a paragraph title to be bigger, you can use the font size drop
down. However, use the +1 or +2 instead of an absolute number. Also in
the FORMAT section the NONE option is also larger than paragraph.
What not to do:Setting the Font to Verdana and the Size to 2. This text is set to Verdana, Arial, Helvetica at size 2. Unless you're on a Mac, this text appears exactly the same as the text above, yet its set to the Default Font and the size is None.
