Professor(s) of a course who wish to have Web pages may
set up a course home page. When saving your course page name the page
with a tilde in front of the course abbreviation (for example, Computer
Science 313 would be /CSC313). This will allow for easy filing and course
searching. Information Providers must place on their pages standard components
of a Web page in the manner specified below. If you are going to put your
course pages on your W: Drive (people.cornellcollege.edu/yourname) please
let us know so that we
can put proper files into your directory.
Every course page template includes a standardized "mailto"
link at the bottom of the page to its Information Provider, who is expected
to reply in a timely and responsible fashion to email inquiries generated
by their pages and Webmaster queries related to their pages. The template
also automatically updates the "Last Updated" time and date.
"Cornell College" is an image at the top that
is automatically set to link to cornellcollege.edu.
All your pages should have the extension of .shtml.
This is very important otherwise any PHP will not work on your page. That
means the last date updated and most importantly your navigation.
