Birth Witches

Superstition, science, religion and politics all meet in a London birthing room in the early 1600s, where accusations of witchcraft overturn hundreds of years of tradition as new male doctors fight to replace female midwives. This world premiere was mounted as a co-production with Iowa City’s Riverside Theatre.
