Adjunct Credits
As part of the major at Cornell, students earn adjunct credits
through production work. In general, students are expected to complete
a minimum of 30 hours of work on a production assignment, although some
assignments require a great deal more time. Adjunct credit work must be
outside classroom production assignments and separate from scholarship
obligations, unless the assignment requires an excess of seventy-five
hours, and is approved by the chair of the department. Students must seek
a faculty sponsor to mentor and supervise the production work. Said sponsor
must agree to work with student before produciton work begins, and must
feel that work was completed satisfactorily for credit to be assigned.
The previous method of online registration has been changed to a new form which must be filed with the registrar in advnace of the production work. Students may access the form here via the registrar's website, or by visiting the registrar's office in Old Sem.
