Purple Pass gives free admission to Cornell events

The Purple Pass allows free admission to home athletic contests, Music Mondays concerts and campus lectures for residents of Mount Vernon and Lisbon and families with children in either school district.

The Purple Pass is available at the Small Multi-Sport Center, Cole Library, or Scott Alumni Center. Patrons can obtain a Purple Pass for their family by showing proof of residence (a driver’s license or other document with a home address) or school enrollment (school ID, etc.).

Moonlight Café provides late-night food and entertainment

Open from midnight to 3 a.m. on Fridays and Saturdays, the student-run Moonlight Café offers late-night food options for Cornell students, such as chicken wings, French fries, hamburgers, sushi, and nachos. Stadler wins Fulbright award to teach in Germany

Chris Stadler, a 2012 graduate of Cornell College from Portland, Ore., has accepted a Fulbright grant through the U.S. Department of State to serve as an English teaching assistant in Germany. He is one of 140 students selected to teach in Germany during the 2012-2013 school year, and he expects to be placed in the southwestern state of Saarland and work with a range of students in grades 5-12.
