If your group plans to bring any performer, speaker, instructor, etc. to campus, a contractual agreement between the parties is needed to ensure the best interest of the group, performer and the college.
The individual coming to campus should provide the organization with a performance contract. If they do not have one, the Director of Student Activities can assist with the creation of one.
Students are not eligible to sign contracts; these must be signed by the Director of Student Activities. Set up an appointment with the Director of Student Activities to discuss the details of the event and contract before committing to anything, including the price (the Director may be able to negotiate a lower price for your group).
