Residence Halls Council

The Residence Halls Council (RHC) is a group of students passionate about improving the residential experience for Cornellians and is composed of representatives nominated from each residence hall. The purpose of the RHC is to plan and execute wide-scale campus events, improve Cornell College's residence life policy and legislation and collaborate with other organizations on campus to bring events and programs into the residence halls.

For students still wishing to be involved in the hall council system but who do not wish to commit to the RHC year round, each residence hall will have an individual hall council that focus on their specific residence hall's needs. Members may be involved in as little or as many events as they choose, but do not hold a set position.

This new model focuses on the idea of passion, not position, and allows students to get involved at any time, and utilize their own unique strengths and interests.
