Kara Beauchamp, Professor of Physics, teaches Astronomy, introductory mechanics, Modern Physics, and upper level Electricity and Magnetism. Her collaborative research with students and other Cornell physics faculty involves the fabrication and analysis of dye-sensitized organic solar cells. She also collects and studies wind speed data to determine local viability of wind energy production. She served on the board of the Iowa Renewable Energy Association from 2001-2008, and as the president of the board from 2005-2008. Ph.D., University of Minnesota; B.A., Carleton College |
