Organizations often bring in speakers from all over the country. In 2011, the Organization for Latino Awareness brought Jorge Zeballos to campus for a presentation on the history of immigration.

Services Supported by Intercultural Life
Our office promotes a sense of community by creating a supportive environment where students of all cultures have the respect, power, and ability to express themselves and to develop understanding and support for one another. The office is dedicated to encouraging and implementing a more diverse student, faculty, and staff population while enriching the curricular and co-curricular experience for students. The ultimate goal is to prepare students to be visionary leaders who have the knowledge to effectively address the challenges of life in an intercultural world.
