iPhone
Your iPhone can be set up to connect to the Cornell Exchange server to get email remotely on your phone. Here's how to set it up:
If you do not have any e-mail accounts set up on your phone already, select the Mail application from your home screen. This will open a page that looks like this:
If you have other mail clients set up, you will need to go to Settings->Mail, Contacts, Calendars->Add Account... The page should look like this:
Once you have chosen to add an account, you will be asked to enter your information. Enter the following values:
- Email: Your Cornell email address, including "@cornellcollege.edu"
- Domain: CORNELL-COLLEGE
- Username: The first part of your Cornell email address, omitting "@cornellcollege.edu"
- Password: The password for your email account
- Description: A description of your choosing
The screen should look like this when you are finished:
If you have a valid account, you will proceed to the next screen and be asked for an additional server name. Enter "mail1.cornellcollege.edu" as shown below:
If your account is authenticated with the server, you will be presented with a page to select which information you would like to sync with Exchange, as seen below. Select your personal preferences of how much information you would like to sync.
You're done! You should now be taken to your mail Inbox and be able to send and receive emails and/or sync calendar and contacts with Exchange on your iPhone.
