Long Term Disability Insurance (LTD)
Group long term disability insurance is provided through Prudential.
Eligibility:
Benefit-eligible employees are automatically enrolled in group long term disability insurance the first of the month following 90 days of employment.
This benefit provides up to 60% of basic monthly earnings not to exceed the maximum monthly benefit of $7,000, less other sources of income. In addition, LTD will continue to make contributions to the employee’s retirement plan. There is a 90-day elimination period and claims must be filed through Human Resources.
