Reading the Online Report

A User's Guide for the Annual Report & Honor Roll of Donors

We are excited to provide this more "green" format for viewing the Annual Report & Honor Roll of Donors, but we also acknowledge that change is never easy.  On this page we give you an overall guide on how to manipulate the issue once you are in.  If you are needing the username and password that was e-mailed and sent on a postcard in November, contact us.  We are glad to help.

Below is a screenshot of some of the first pages in the issue.

Annual Report Page 2 and 3

You will notice that on all pages you can click once to zoom onto that page and click again to zoom back out.

While the bottom index is handy for quickly getting to particular pages, most of what you need to get around and customize your view is located in the toolbar along the top of the page.

Here is what all of the toolbar icons mean:

Previous Page

This will take you to the previous page. You can also go to the previous page by hovering your cursor over the left side of the page.  An arrow will pop up that you can click.  The little arrow with the line will take you back to the first page.

Next Page

This will take you to the next page. You can also go to the next page by hovering your cursor over the right side of the page.  An arrow will pop up that you can click.  The little arrow with the line will take you to the last page.

Index Page View

This will take you to an index page where you can see all of the pages in thumbnails. Click on any thumbnail to jump to that page or click the X in the upper left hand corner to return to the main page.

Full Screen

This will take you to full screen mode where you can see an enlarged version of the page.  Like in the default view, you can click once on the page to zoom in and then click again to zoom back out.  Flipping pages is also the same in this mode. Hover your cursor over to the far left or right of the image and arrows will pop up.  The big arrows on the sides will take you to the next or previous page and the little arrows in the corners will take you to the first or last page.

Full Screen Toolbar To exit full screen mode, either hit "Esc" or hover your cursor at the top of the page and another toolbar will pop up, click the X to return to the regular or "magazine" view. You'll notice that this toolbar for leaving full screen mode also has index,  "next" and "previous" page buttons, too.

Email to a Friend

This would normally allow you to email this issue to a friend or publish it to another site, but since this is a secure document, this function is disabled.

Print Page

This allows you to print the page(s) you are currently on.

Change View Mode

This is the "change your view mode" button and is what you need if this default viewing format does not suit you.  Click once and a drop down menu will give you a series of three view choices: Magazine, Presentation and Paper.

Magazine View 1. Magazine view is the default view and the one you are currently in when you open the issue.  It allows you to look at the magazine in two-page spreads.
Presentation View 2. Presentation view is like magazine except it show just one page at a time. Notice all the previous and next arrows and zoom capabilities are the same as magazine view.
Page View 3. Selecting Paper view will pop up another browser window that will open the issue in a more traditional pdf format.  If you maximize that new window you will get a screen-wide shot of each page which makes the print bigger than life.  You will also find that this format doesn't use zoom or previous/next buttons, but scrolls down along the side like a typical pdf document.

Not all readers are the same and that is why there are several views from which to choose.

That concludes the basic overview on how to navigate around the online Annual Report & Honor Roll of Donors.  We welcome your questions and feedback.
