Red Barn Demolition

Cornell partnered with Habitat for Humanity and the CVHH ReStore to raze and remove the red barn from the Cornell campus. Volunteer labor brought the barn down and removed 5.61 tons of debris for resale at the ReStore. Items removed include:

  • 1 soap stone sink
  • 4 house pillars
  • 6 windows
  • 1 gazebo
  • 2 ladders
  • 2 plastic tubs
  • 1 metal 55 gallon drum
  • 15 cinder blocks
  • 1 set of barn doors
  • 12 4x4 treated 8 foot posts
  • 1 child's wagon
  • 8 raw hewn 16 foot x 5x5 posts
  • 18,000 square feet of barn boards
