Many scholarships available for
undergraduate study at an accredited four year college. Selection based on academic record, leadership responsibilities in school and community, majoring in a health related course of study, and a clear statement of educational goals. Deadline: April

UNCF
Intended to encourage the interest of African American undergraduate students in furthering their science education and pursuing biomedical science careers. Provides tuition support and opportunities for research experience. Applicants must be African American, enrolled full-time in a four-year college, science majors, a GPA of 3.3, committed to a two to ten week summer internship at a Merck research facility, and a U.S. citizen or permanent resident.
