Richard Small '50 and honorary alumna Norma Small were honored at the Homecoming Dinner launching the public phase of Extraordinary Opportunities: The Campaign for Cornell. The Smalls, who are unsurpassed in their philanthropy to Cornell, pledged $15.1 million. At the time of the launch, $74 million had been raised toward the $92 million goal.

Alumni of the Pandemonium Steel Drum Band and Calypso Singers stirred the audience with their rousing music after the Homecoming Dinner. Singer Jane Noseworthy '01 leads Politics Professor Craig Allin in a conga line.
