Aims of the Fellowship
The purpose of my fellowship is to learn more about Peruvian healthcare, specifically women's health, by volunteering at an underfunded, understaffed clinic in Cusco, Peru for three weeks. During this time I will assist with basic patient care such as taking patients' height and weight and shadow Peruvian doctors and nurses in order to learn more about differences in healthcare between the United States and Peru.
