My fellowship experience:
My fellowship gave me the opportunity to work with various functions of NACDS, which allowed me to learn and accomplish more than I expected. I came to NACDS with two goals: to better understand the role Human Resources and Public Policy in an organization, and to explore the healthcare industry. I left NACDS with a better understanding of inter-departmental collaborations in achieving an organizational goal and the interaction among retail, policy, and pharmacy in contributing to the advancement of public health and patient care. My NACDS experience honed my skills, provided me with new knowledge, and opened up doors and direction for my future career.
