My fellowship experience:
Overall, my experience was extremely instructive and affirming. I was sure that I wanted to go into research before my fellowship, and after nine weeks, I am ever more certain. I love the challenges that science poses, but I am still uncertain about the precise area of scientific research I should settle into – I am fond of so many.

Aims of the Fellowship
The goal is to design and synthesize a molecule that can act as a sensor of intracellular calcium signals. The sensor will report changes in intracellular concentration through changes in its electron paramagnetic resonance (EPR) spectrum.
