My fellowship experience:

This Fellowship definitely gave me the opportunity to gain proficiency at the bench, which will help me as I go into my senior year as a Biochemistry and Molecular Biology major. I feel more confident at trying new laboratory techniques and making educated decisions in the research setting. This Fellowship opportunity allowed me to further investigate the medical world from a research standpoint.
