My fellowship experience:
It was a lifechanging trip not only personally but also professionally. I returned a much more grateful person with a new perspective on life and what it means to be determined and to do the right thing. I have remained involved with an NGO at Cheti, and I had a lot more confidence in myself as a teacher going into my student teaching after being in charge of my own class for a summer.  Having had such a great experience, I decided to continue my travels by teaching abroad and will be moving to El Salvador to teach for two years following graduation.
