Aims of the Fellowship
The fellowship provides an opportunity to connect with the community and supporters of the museum as part of  a major fundraising effort to rebuild the damaged facilities. Additionally, the fellowship will allow for exploration of the psychological impact of traumatic events (i.e., the 2008 flood in Cedar Rapids) as well as the role of community rebuilding efforts on well-being. Exploration on the role of culture and cultural traditions influence identity and well-being will also be conducted.
