Aims of the Fellowship
I was an intern in the office of former Speaker of the US House of Representatives Newt Gingrich, who is now a Senior Fellow at the American Enterprise Institute in Washington, D.C.  This experience was more than simply filing papers and getting coffee, it was focused on long term projects and in-depth research, much of which touched on areas I had not studied during my time at Cornell.
