Chemistry Course List
All courses beyond introductory ones have prerequisites. CHE 122 or 161 is prerequisite for all upper level courses. In addition, physical chemistry courses require calculus, and go in sequence. Organic chemistry courses also go in sequence. For full prerequisite information, see the course descriptions from the Cornell course catalogue.
Courses required of majors are indicated by an asterisk. CHE 161 can substitute for CHE 121 & 122.
