Advanced StandingCornell offers the opportunity for admission with advanced standing or admission with exemption from certain course requirements (see ``Exemption, Advanced Placement and Credit by Examination''). Students should consult their high school counselor for information about the Advanced Placement Tests offered by the College Entrance Examination Board and the College Level Examination Program (CLEP) or write to the Educational Testing Service, Box 592, Princeton, New Jersey 08540. The Cornell Registrar can answer questions about these and other possibilities for advanced standing such as the International Baccalaureate.
