Minneapolis Trip

Requirements for Minneapolis Road Trip

  • Apply online by October 12th.  Please note submitting an application does not guarantee a spot on the trip.
  • Submit your resume to Megan Hicks by October 22nd.  If you need help with your resume, please contact our office to set up an appointment. 
  • Hotel and meals will be provided for you on the trip.
  • Attend the Pre-departure meeting on Monday, October 22nd at 11:45am.

Itinerary

Thursday, October 25

9:00am- Depart Mt Vernon, IA for Minneapolis, MN

2:00pm - Check in at hotel (Holiday Inn Express Minneapolis)

3:00pm- Site Visit- Allianz a worldwide insurance and asset management company.  Our contact here is the Senior Director of US Marketing for the company.

6:00pm - Networking dinner event with Cornell College Alumni at Pizza Nea (owned by two Cornell alumni)

 

Friday, October 26

9:00-11:00am - Site Visit- Second Harvest Heartland, the Upper Midwest's largest hunger relief organization.  Our contact here is the Chief Financial Officer for the company.

11:00am-1:00pm - Site Visit- Target Corporate Headquarters, meet with several Cornell alumni who work here.

1:00pm - Depart for Mt Vernon, IA
