The 80's Dance Party is an example of one of the many activities organized by student-led organizations at Cornell.

Student Activities

Cornell College students are passionate and deeply involved, in and out of the classroom. In fact, involvement is an expectation!

Some 100 student groups focus on everything from chess games to swing dancing, environmental issues to investing. Local fraternities and sororities offer fun and friendship along with leadership and service opportunities. Student Senate members have a real impact on how the campus is governed. More than 50 percent of students participate in intramural sports.

Looking for fun things to do on campus? Cornell’s PAAC (Performing Arts & Activities Council) sponsors dance parties, comedians, bands, casino night, free massages, student homecoming events, and a lot more. Much of this activity happens in The Commons and especially on the Orange Carpet, Cornell's campus hub and the place to find out what's happening.

With so much going on, it’s no wonder that a large majority of Cornell students are engaged in at least one co-curricular activity. Where will your passion take you? offer fun and friendship along with leadership and service opportunities.
