When are Business Services Desk services available?

Monday – Friday, 8:30am to 4:00pm.

How can I make a payment?

Cash or checks are acceptable forms of payment.  Credit/Debit cards cannot be processed.

How do I know how much to pay?

Business Services can look up the amount owed on your student account or for a trip payment.

May I cash a check on campus?

You may cash a check for up to $100.00 at the Business Services Desk.  If you are writing the check, please make it to Cornell College.  If it is a third party check made to you, you will need to endorse the back of the check in order to cash it.  You must present a student ID card to cash a check. 

I’ve lost my ID card, what do I do?

Replacement ID cards are managed through Residence Life.

Where do I turn in my student timecard?

First Floor, Old Sem.  For more information on student payroll, please see Student Payroll.

I am supposed to complete tax paperwork for my work study position, where do I get that?

I need to sign a scholarship or loan check in order to have it applied to my student account. 

Come to First Floor, Old Sem with your student ID card.  These checks do have expiration dates, so please come in as soon as you are notified.

I can’t afford to pay for textbooks or a medical expense, what should I do?

Contact the Office of Student Affairs to initiate an Emergency Loan.  The loan is then processed at the Business Services Desk in Old Sem.

How can I request a cash box for my event?

Please fill out a Voucher: Request for Payment form with the total amount and breakdown of bills/coins needed.  Submit your request 24 hours before your event and pick up the cash box at the Business Services Desk in Old Sem.
