What’s in my room?
Located in each air-conditioned guest room are telephones, with free local calling, local cable TV, and alarm clock radios. Every room has its own private bath and they are all accessible to free wireless internet.

Continental Breakfast
A continental breakfast is available at Brackett House from 7:30 a.m. to 9:00 a.m. daily. Other options include eating at Cornell College’s Dining Room or visiting local restaurants.

Swimming Pool Access
The Sleep Inn & Suites has an indoor pool and whirlpool available to our guests year round for a daily charge of $3.00. From Memorial Day through Labor Day, a public, outdoor pool, located in Mt. Vernon’s Davis Park, is available for a small fee.

Free Cornell fitness center access
If you are looking to work up a sweat, visit Cornell’s Richard & Norma Small Multi-Sport Center. Inside you will find a gymnasium, a six-lane indoor track surrounding four multi-purpose courts, racquetball courts, a variety of cardiovascular exercise equipment, and a newly renovated weight-room. Campus Dining & Starbucks
Finding your favorite foods on campus is easy! For a nominal fee guests are welcome to eat in Cornell's dining hall in The Commons among current Cornell students, faculty, & staff. A wide range of options are available in a buffet format. The Rathskellar is also a dining option. Located on the 2nd floor of the Commons, the Rathskellar features sandwiches, salads, Starbucks coffee, and other casual dining fare that can be enjoyed in a coffee-ship atmosphere or ordered to go. Brackett Policies
For the enjoyment and comfort of all Brackett House guests, smoking is prohibited in all areas of the house. Alcoholic beverages are allowed in guest rooms to those guests of legal age. Please be responsible and respectable to the other guests, as well as Brackett House, as many of the items within the home are antiques. Quiet hours are from 11:00 p.m. to 6:00 a.m.

On Site Events
Available for rent is the downstairs area with two living rooms and porches. These areas are great places to hold receptions, meetings, reunions, etc. and can be arranged to accommodate your outing. If food is wanted at your gathering Sodexho Dining Services is available and will cater to your needs.
