Uloma impressa is the scientific name for the beetle to the left. These beetles are normally found in the Eastern United States; and usually under tree bark. Uloma Impressa are about 11-12 millimeters in size. They are shiny chestnut- brown in color, with reddish-brown colored legs. As adults and larvae, U. impressa feed on dead and decaying plant items.
