The Atlas beetle can grow to be 13cm in length. 1/3 of its length is taken up by the longhorns that are used for fighting other males during mating. The beetle comes from Asia and Malaysia. The female looks different than male, has no horns and is much smaller. For its size the Atlas beetle is one of the strongest animals on Earth, it can carry 4kg.
