Because of their damaging nature, many people look for ways to kill plant-sucking bugs. One of these ways is to use Phosphate Fertilizer. In particular, the cowpea pod-sucking bug is affected by phosphate fertilizer as the fertilizer was shown to decrease the population density of such insects.
