J is for...Juniper Webworm

Home

The Juniper Webworm is found in much of Asia, the northern United States and the southern part of Canada. They feed on the pine needles of Juniperus. After mating, the femals can lay between 50-200 eggs in a bed of needles. Adult males live 12 days where as the femals live 14 days.
