Insect ABC's

Back to Cassie and Caroline

The picture to the left may look like a funny looking plant but the plant is actually taken over by a type of scale insect. These insects often cover a plant but look nothing like what a normal insect would look like. Instead of their bodies protruding from the plant there is a protective covering that the insects makes itself. It has nearly no worries when it comes to its head being eaten because it is very well hidden.
